The US-led coalition airstrike that targeted living quarters in the city of Raqqa resulted in death of 10 civilians including women and children, all of whom were members of al-Shaqran family.
The local sources also reported that several people were injured in the strike. The coalition has not commented on the incident.
In the latest report, issued by the US Central Command this June, the number of civilians killed in coalition air strikes rose over four hundreds and reached 484 men, women and children. Meanwhile, independent observers say that coalition reports severely underestimate the number of civilian casualties. According to Airwars activists, the minimum death toll in coalition raids is around five thousand.
