The Syrian Public Opinion Monitoring Agency took a poll among users of social networks registered in Syria. The poll involved more than 6 thousand people.
According to the poll the vast majority of respondents criticizes the actions of the Turkish Armed Forces in Syria.
The question “Do you support the presence of the Turkish Armed Forces in Syria” was answered in the negative by 83 % of respondents, in the affirmative by 17 %. The question “Does Turkey support HTS terrorists in Idlib province?” was answered in the affirmative by 78 % of respondents, in the negative by 22 %. The question “Will the Turkish Armed Forces operation “Olive Branch” achieve the desired result in northern Syria?” was answered in the negative by 67 % of respondents, in the affirmative by 33 %.
After the poll the analytics concluded that Syrians opposed the presence of Turkish troops in Syria and supported the president’s policy.
