An US patrol approached one of the SAA 1st Armored Division checkpoints near Manbij city and asked soldiers to remove the Syrian flag.
The request was reportedly firmly denied by Captain Mohammad Salloum, who is a commander of the checkpoint.
According to the source, the situation did not escalate beyond a verbal confrontation and led to the US military left the area.
