Syrian Army forces look on as buses leave district of Waer during a truce between the government and rebels, in Homs

Another group of Syrian rebels is leaving the opposition-held area in the city of Homs with their families under a Russia-brokered deal with the Damascus government.

They are guaranteed safe passage to rebel-held parts in Idlib province.
The evacuations are expected to last weeks, after which the government will be able to claim control over the entire city for the first time in years.
