The 14th mass grave consisting of 600 bodies was discovered in Fakhakiya village of Raqqa province.
Local residents claim not all bodies are casualties of ISIS terrorists tortures, most of them was killed during the US-led international coalition air raids artillery bombardment committed by SDF fighters on Raqqa city and its suburbs during the operation of Raqqa’s liberation in 2017.

Since the fall of Raqqa in October 2017, local organizations and the civil community have been working to rehabilitate and reconstruct the city. So far, 3,500 bodies have been exhumed from mass graves in the areas of al-Rasheed Stadium, the zoo, Bedouin Neighborhood, and the Ancient Mosque.
