Pro-terrorist media sources disclosed that Al Nusra Front (recently renamed to Fatah al Sham Front) stormed heavily the positions of Ahrar al Sham and its allied groups in Western Aleppo and won control over more towns in the region.
The sources said that al Nusra entered the town of al Halazouneh that is the main base of Jeish al Mujahedeen affiliated to Ahrar al Sham.
Nusra engaged in heavy clashes with Jeish al Mujahedeen and captured al Halazouneh, taking control over the arms depots in the town.
A number of militants from Nusra and Jeish al Mujahedeen were killed or wounded in the clashes.
In the meantime, al Nusra struck Jeish al Mujahedeen’s positions in the towns of Anada and Haraytan and captured the towns after hours of non-stop clashes.
