Despite regular attacks by SAA and RuAF the city and it’s outskirts are still mostly under ISIS control. Local intelligence sources report that at least 14 terrorist’s camps and more that 4,500 fighters are concentrated to the North of Uqayribat, while the city itself serves as a transit point and coordination center.
