DAESH controls one of the key water sources in Aleppo. ISIS terrorists also blew up a gas pipeline in the vicinity of Tadmor (Palmyra).
The DAESH (ISIS) militants have been in control of one of the water sources in the province of Aleppo for a few weeks now. According to UN reports over 1.8 million people in Aleppo city and the surrounding settlements are cut off vital water supplies. In this situation the UN convoys deliver fuel to ensure hundreds wells operate in the area and supply water to local people.
According to Syrian media ISIS militants destroyed pipeline Hayan to the North-West of Tadmor (ancient Palmyra) and set it on fire. The fire lasted for hours before it was put out. Last week ISIS demolished the remnants of a gas processing plant here.
