FORMER FSA COMMANDER: NEW INTERNATIONAL ARRANGEMENTS OVER IDLIB ARE IN THE WORKS

Sochi agreement over the demilitarization zone in Idlib province will be soon replaced by a new international deal, according to a former Free Syrian Army commander Fares Bayoush.

“The age of Sochi agreement may come to its end anytime, but Idlib will remain out of the Syrian regime’s control,” Bayuosh claimed, adding that the exchange of fire between the government forces and the opposition will be also put to an end via “international arrangements”.

He also added that the recent escalation around Idlib was caused by disagreements between foreign states, including US, Russia and Turkey.
