The U.S. DoD (through U.S. SOCOM) has reportedly transferred arms in Ukraine for their further sending to Syria.
The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project in cooperation with the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network investigated Ukraine involvement in weapons supplies to ISIS and al Qaeda-linked Hay’at Tahrir al Sham (formerly al Nusra front and Jabhat Fateh al Sham) terrorists.
According to the source, the deliveries are routed through two channels. One is run by the US military’s Special Operations Command, SOCOM, and the other is operated by Picatinny Arsenal depot located in Dover, NJ.
Authorities in Romania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Georgia were presented with US procurement documents showing that weapons they had exported were destined to Syria.
According to the source, Kiev used the logistical scheme elaborated by Washington to export arms and weapons from the Ukrainian armed forces weapons depots. The deal is estimated at $110 billion.
The General Staff of Ukraine took advantage of Oktyabrsk seaport located 25 kilometers southeast to Mykolaiv and Kiev air transport hub to supply weapons to the Middle East.
