Jaysh al-Ahrar, a former Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) subunit, demanded to hold a Sharia court session to settle the conflict between the group and HTS, who has allegedly stolen property of Jaysh al-Ahrar.

In a statement, published by Jaysh al-Ahrar, HTS is accused of stealing weaponry from the group after it had announced its split from HTS. HTS has not yet commented on the situation.

Jaysh al-Ahrar was formed under command of a former Ahrar al-Sham military commander Abu Saleh al-Tahan and cleric Abu Mohammad al-Sadeq. Before the split it was one of the key elements within HTS ranks.
