The citizens of Raqqa were deprived of access to water after the US-led coalition jets destroyed the last well in the city.

According to ISIS media outlet Amaq agency, the strikes targeted a gathering of people who came to get water from a well in the northern part of the city. More than 20 civilians were killed with 15 others wounded. Amaqa also claimed that since the beginning of the Raqqa offensive the Coalition has destroyed 13 wells in total.

More than 40 civilians were killed in another US-led coalition air strike on Monday, Oct 2nd. The strike targeted two houses near al-Baladi stadium, completely destroying them.
