EXCLUSIVE: SAA FINDS NUSRA WAREHOUSE LOADED WITH US-MADE WEAPONRY IN ALEPPO

On May 31st a group of SAA fighters headed to Aqrab district (Souq al Jibs) in the city of Aleppo to inspect the area for mines and other dangerous objects.  It was undertaken to provide safe return of previously displaced locals. During the operation the Syrian Forces spotted a large warehouse with a huge number of US-made weaponry.

This district is near the line between territories controlled by SAA and militants.

An exact number of weapons is unknown, but we know for sure the are being delivered to militant groups from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, reportedly shipped via Bulgaria and Croatia from the US.

Concerning Aleppo, till December 2016 the city was held by predominantly al-Nusra group funded and armed by Turkey and Saudis.  According to the agreements, Washington sells military hardware to these two states, which supply militants with US-made small arms and anti-tank systems (including TOW).
